영재지도 경험에 따른 교사의 영재교육에 대한 인식 및 영재에 대한 이미지 비교

초록/요약
본 연구는 학교 교육현장에서 영재지도 경험이 있는 교사와 영재지도 경험이 없는 교사의 영재교육에 대한 인식과 영재아동들에 대한 이미지 비교에 관한 것이다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 영재의 특성에 대해 영재지도 경험이 있는 교사가 비교적 잘 알고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 두 집단 모두 영재교사들의 업무 경감, 영재담당 인력 양성 및 전문성 확보, 영재프로그램 개발에 대한 부분에서 필요성을 인식하고 있다. 둘째, 교사들은 영재학생을 특정분야에서 뛰어난 재능을 보이는 사람으로 인식을 하고 있으며, 그러한 능력을 영재들이 갖추어야 할 요소로 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 영재를 선발할 때 적당한 검사도구를 묻는 설문에 두 집단 모두 ‘객관적인 검사도구’가 적절한 것으로 생각하고 있다. 교사들은 관찰추천 방식이 주관적 요소가 있다고 인식하고 있으며, 보다 객관적 평가 검사도구를 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교사들의 영재에 대한 이미지를 분석한 결과 두 집단간에 평균 차이를 보였으나 유의미한 차이는 나타나지 않아 두 집단 모두 영재에 대한 이미지는 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 관찰추천 방식의 도입으로 일반 교사들도 영재 선발에 영향을 미치게 되었다. 본 연구는 영재지도 경험의 유무에 따른 교사들의 영재교육에 대한 인식을 비교하고, 일반 교사들을 대상으로 한 연수확대 실시를 제안하며 연수의 방향성 설정에 도움이 되고자 한다.

This study is about recognition about gifted children education and comparison images of gifted children between teachers who have experience that teaching gifted children and teachers who don't have that experience on school educational field. Examining the results of this study, first, it showed that teachers who have experience teaching gifted children well know about characters of gifted children. Both groups are recognizing necessity of gifted children teachers' work decreasing, training human resources who is in charge of gifted children, securement of professionalism and development of program for gifted children. Second, teachers consider gifted students as people who have talents for certain area, and recognize those abilities are elements that gift children should possess. Third, asked for survey what is proper examination tool when selecting gifted children, both groups think 'objective examination tool' is suitable. Teachers are recognizing observation recommendation method has subjective factor and prefer objective examination tool. Fourth, outcomes from analyzing out images of gifted children show that mean difference between two groups but didn't denote meaningful difference. Therefore it came out both groups' images for gifted children is similar. By introduction of observation recommendation method, general teachers came to affect selecting gifted children. This study compares recognition of gifted children's education, suggests training expansion implementation for general teachers to give a help for directivity set-up.
