초록/요약
신체 중심 반복 행동은 신체의 특정 부위를 대상으로 충동적이고 파괴적이며 반복적으로 나타나는 행위를 의미한다. 본 연구는 신체 중심 반복 행동을 측정하는 Generic Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior Scale-8 (GBS-8)을 한국어로 번안하고 타당화하였다. 이를 위해 만 19살에서 59살 사이의 성인 남녀 300명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 진행한 후, 무선적으로 두 집단을 추출하여 첫 번째 집단(N = 100)에서 탐색적 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였으며 두 번째 집단(N = 200)에서 확인적 요인분석 및 타당도 검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과 원척도와 동일한 8개 문항, 2개 하위요인(심각도, 손상도)구조가 적합했고, 내적 합치도도 양호했다. 불안, 우울, 충동성, ADHD, 강박, 알코올 문제 등 다양한 임상적 변인들과의 유의한 상관을 통해 수렴 타당도 및 변별 타당도를 확인했다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의 및 한계점, K-GBS-8의 활용과 향후 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

Body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) refer to impulsive, destructive, and repetitive actions targeted specific areas of the body. This study aimed to translate and validate the Generic Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior Scale-8 (GBS-8) for Korean adults. A total of 300 adults aged 19 to 59 participated in aan online survey. The sample was randomly divided into two subsamples: : exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and reliability testing were conducted on the first group (n = 100), while confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and validity testing were conducted on the second group (n = 200). Results from both EFA and CFA supported a two-factor structure (Severity and Impairment) consisting of eight items, consistent with the original version of the scale. The Korean version (K-GBS-8) showed good internal consistency and convergent validity. Criterion validity was also suppoted byh significant correlations with relevant clinical variables, including anxiety, depression, impulsivity, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and alcohol-related problems. The study concludes by discussing the implications, potential applications of the K-GBS-8, along with its limitations and suggestions for future research.
