중환자실 간호사의 교대근무별 수면의 질, 피로, 일과 삶의 균형, 직무만족도 차이

This study has the feature of cross-sectional survey study to investigate the difference on sleep quality, fatigue, work- life balance, and job satisfaction by shift work of an intensive care unit nurses. The respondents were 130 nurses who have 2-shift work or 3-shift work in the intensive care of A superior general hospital, and the structured questionnaires were collected from June 1 to June 24, 2022. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test and Chi-squared test. The main results of this study are as follows. 1. For the sleep quality by shift work of intensive care nurse, mean of 2shift work nurse was 8.05, and mean of 3shift work nurse was 7.39, and it indicated that 2shift work nurse was lower than 3 shift work. Nonetheless, there was no significant difference between them (t=0.13, p=.228). The usage of sleeping pill of 2shift work nurse is higher than 3shift work, and there was significant difference (t=2.81, p=.006). 2. For the fatigue by shift work of intensive care nurse, mean of 2shift work nurse was 4.64, and mean of shift work nurse was 4.59, and it indicated that 2shift work nurse was higher than 3shift work. Nonetheless, there was no significant difference between them (t=0.36, p=.722). 3. For work and life balance by shift work of intensive care nurse, mean of 2shift work nurse was 3.45, and mean of 3shift work nurse was 3.33, and it indicated that 2shift work nurse was higher than 3shift work. Nonetheless, there was no significant difference between them (t=0.91, p=.363). 4. For job satisfaction by shift work of intensive care nurse, mean of 2shift work nurse was 2.89, and mean of 3shift work nurse was 2.77, and it indicated that job satisfaction of 2 shift work nurse was higher than 3shift work. (t=2.42, p=.017). The results demonstrated that job satisfaction of 2work shift nurse was higher than 3shift work, and there was no significant difference on sleep quality, fatigue, and work and life balance between them. Consequently, based on these results, the shift work of intensive care nurse should be focused attention to, and in future, the effort to improve sleep quality, fatigue, work and life balance, and life satisfaction of nurse through replication about various work types should be needed.

본 연구는 중환자실 간호사의 교대근무 별 수면의 질, 피로, 일과 삶의균형, 직무만족도 차이를 파악하기 위한 횡단적 조사연구 로 연구 대상자는 수도권 소재 A상급종합병원 중환자실에서 2교대 근무 또는 3교대 근무를 하는 간호사 130명을 대상으로 2022년 6월 1일부터 6월 24일까지 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료 를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술 통계, Independent t-test, Chi-squared test를 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 중환자실 간호사의 교대근무 별 수면의 질은 2교대 근무 간호사 평균 8.05점, 3교대 근무 간호사 평균 7.39점으로 2교대 근무 간호사의 수면의 질이 더 낮았으나, 두 군간 유의한 차이 는 없었다(t=0.13, p=.228). 수면의 질 하위영역 중 수면제 사용은 2교대 근무 간호사에서 더 많았으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=2.81, p=.006). 2. 중환자실 간호사의 교대근무별 피로는 2교대 근무 간호사 평균 4.64점, 3교대 근무 간호사 평균 4.59점으로 2교대 근무 간호사의 피로가 더 높았으나, 두 군간 유의한 차이는 없었다(t=0.36, p=.722). 3, 중환자실 간호사의 교대근무별 일과 삶의 균형은 2교대 근무 간호사 평균 3.45점, 3교대 근무 간호사 평균 3.33점으로 2교대 간호사의 일과 삶의 균형이 더 높았으나, 두 군간 유의한 차이는 없었다(t=0.91, p=.363). 4. 중환자실 간호사의 교대근무별 직무만족도는 2교대 근무 간호사 평균 2.89점, 3교대 근무 간호사 평균 2.77점으로 2교대 근무 간호사의 직무만족도가 유의하게 더 높았다(t=2.42, p=.017). 연구결과 2교대 근무 간호사의 직무만족도가 3교대 근무 간호사 보다 높았으나, 수면의 질, 피로, 일과 삶의 균형은 두 군간 유의한 차이가 없었다. 따라서 이를 바탕으로 중환자실 간호사의 교대근무에 대한 관심을 가지고, 향후 다양한 근무유형에 대한 반복적인 연구를 통해 간호사들의 피로를 감소시키고, 수면의 질과 일과 삶의 균형, 직무만족도를 향상시키기 위한 지속적인 노력이 필요하다.
