12세 이하 영구치 레진 충전의 건강보험 적용이 아동의 충전치료에 미치는 영향

초록/요약
본 연구는 2019년부터 시행된 만 12세 이하 광중합형 복합레진 충전치료의 급여화가 아동의 충전치료에 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석하였다. 건강보험 심사평가원에서 제공하는 보건 의료 빅데이터를 이용하여 2014년부터 2020년까지 치아우식증으로 충전치료를 받은 만 12세 아동을 대상으로 분석을 하였다. 광중합형 복합레진 충전치료의 급여화가 시작된 2019년 충전치료 시행 횟수는 2018년 대비 144.85%의 증가율을 보였다. 광중합형 복합레진은 기존의 급여화 재료에 비해 심미성과 물성이 우수한 재료이며 심미성이 높아 환자들의 선호도가 높다. 광중합형 복합레진 충전의 급여화로 만 5세 이상 만 12세 이하 혼합치열기 환자들의 충치치료에 대한 부담이 완화되어 초기 충치치료에 대한 접근성이 높아져 급여화 이전보다 구강건강증진에 기여하고 있는 것으로 생각된다.

This study analyzed the effect of the national health insurance coverage of composite resin filling on restoration of permanent teeth of children under age of 12 years old. Using the health care big data provided by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, the analysis was conducted on children under 12 years old who received composite resin filling for tooth caries from 2014 to 2020. In 2019, when the payment of light-cured composite resin filling began, the number of composite resin filling increased by 144.85% compared to 2018. Light-cured composite resin is a material with excellent aesthetics and physical properties compared to conventional feed materials, and has high aesthetics, so patients have high preferences. It is thought that the payment of light-cured composite resin has eased the burden of cavity filling for patients aged 5 to 12 years old, increasing access to initial cavity filling, contributing to the improvement of oral health before the payment.
