초록/요약
교과서는 좋은 수업을 위한 가장 중요한 수업 도구이다. 교과서에 수록된 문학작품은 학생들에게 미치는 영향력은 크다고 볼 수 있다. 효과적인 문학 수업이 되기 위해서는 문학 작품이 훌륭할 뿐 아니라, 학생들에게 관심과 흥미를 끌 수 있는 제재가 수록되어야 한다. 본고는 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 국어 교과서 문학 단원을 집중적으로 고찰하여 문학 단원에 수록된 현대소설 제재의 현황을 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 현대소설 제재의 3가지 특징을 확인하였다. 이는 ‘성취기준에 따라 정형화된 작품의 반복적 활용’과 ‘특정한 시대적 배경에 따른 배경의 반복적 등장’과 ‘정전급 작가에 대한 높은 의존도’이다. 앞에서 살펴본 현대소설 제재의 개선을 위한 과제는 학습자의 위계를 고려한 제재를 발굴하고 다양한 주제의 작품을 적극적으로 도입하는 것이다. 청소년의 언어로 청소년의 직접적인 문제를 가장 잘 보여줄 수 있고, 흥미와 관심을 얻을 수 있는 소설 중 하나로 ‘청소년소설’을 제안한다. ‘청소년소설’을 통해 평생 독자로 성장할 수 있도록 토대를 마련해 주길 바란다.

Abstract Textbooks are the most important teaching tools for good classes. Literary works contained in textbooks have a great influence on students. In order to be an effective literary education, literary works must be excellent and be able to attract interest and interest to students. This paper focused on the literature unit of the middle school Korean textbook according to the 2015 revised curriculum to examine the current status of modern novel materials included in the literature unit, and based on this, three characteristics of modern novel materials were identified. It is the repetitive use of works formalized according to achievement standards, the repetitive appearance of the background according to a specific background of the era, and the high dependence on the author. The task for improving modern novel materials discussed above is to discover materials that take into account learners' hierarchies and actively introduce works of various themes. It proposes "Youth Novel" as one of the novels that can best show the direct problems of adolescents in the language of adolescents and gain interest and interest. I hope you will lay the foundation for growing into a lifelong reader through "Youth Novel.“
