초록/요약
본 연구에서는 개념도 방법론을 사용하여 역차별을 경험한 20대 남자 대학생이 지각한 역차별 경험과 그 결과에 대해 알아보았다. 20~26세의 남자 대학생 6명을 대상으로 역차별에 대해 응답하게 한 후 이를 개념도로 제작하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 20대 남자 대학생들이 경험한 역차별의 범주는 모두 6개로 ‘제도/정책적 측면에서의 역차별’ ‘여성이 경험하는 이득으로 인해 지각하는 역차별’ ‘역차별에 대한 사회적 인식으로 지각하는 역차별’ ‘타고난 신체적 특성으로 인한 역차별’ ‘남성을 정당하게 대우하지 않거나 비하할 때 지각하는 역차별’ ‘역차별에 대한 직·간접적인 메시지를 통해 지각하는 역차별’이 있었다. 이러한 역차별에 대한 결과로는 ‘역차별에 대한 의견을 내지 않는 이유’ ‘역차별 경험으로 인해 경험하는 불편한 인지·정서 경험’ ‘역차별 지각으로 인한 남녀 평등에 대한 균형 잡힌 시각’과 같은 3가지 범주가 형성되었다. 논의에서는 남성들이 겪는 차별에 관한 다른 자료들과 본 연구의 결과를 함께 제시하였으며, 상담에 대한 시사점 및 제한점을 논의하였다.

In this study, we investigated the experiences and results of reverse discrimination perceived by male college students in their twenties who experienced reverse discrimination using conceptual methodology. Six male college students aged 20 to 26 years were asked to respond to reverse discrimination, and then they were produced and analyzed as conceptual diagrams. As a result of the study, there were six categories of reverse discrimination experienced by male college students in their 20s:'reverse discrimination in terms of system/policy','reverse discrimination perceived by the benefits experienced by women', ‘reverse discrimination perceived as a social perception of reverse discrimination','reverse discrimination due to innate physical characteristics','reverse discrimination perceived when men are not treated or defamed', and 'reverse discrimination perceived through direct and indirect messages about reverse discrimination'. As a result of such reverse discrimination, there are 3 categories such as 'why not give opinions about reverse discrimination','uncomfortable cognitive and emotional experiences experienced due to reverse discrimination', and 'balanced views on gender equality due to reverse discrimination'. In the discussion, the results of this study were presented together with other data on discrimination faced by men, and the implications of counseling and limitations were discussed.
