초록/요약
This study investigated a relationship between Maladaptive Perfectionism and Rumination, focusing on the dual mediating effect of Self-Coldness and Self-Compassion. Two hundreds three people in 20s and 30s completed questionnaires to assess maladaptive perfectionism, rumination, self-coldness and self-compassion. Results indicated that Self-coldness and Self-compassion were full-mediated the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and rumination. Also there was significant contrast between indirect effect of self-coldness and self-compassion. This study compensates for the limitations of previous studies by comparing the mediating effects between self-coldness and self-compassion, which affect rumination in maladaptive perfectionism. These finding suggest that increasing self-compassion would be important but primarily on the reduction of self-coldness would be more efficient in the prevention and treatment of psychological maladjustment, such as rumination or further depression. Limitations and future directions were discussed.

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 하여 부적응적 완벽주의와 반추 간의 관계가 자기냉담(Self-Coldness)과 자기자비(Self-Compassion)에 의하여 매개되는지를 검증하였다. 20-30대 203명을 대상으로 그들의 부적응적 완벽주의, 반추, 자기냉담, 그리고 자기자비를 평가하는 설문지를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 자기냉담과 자기자비는 부적응적 완벽주의와 반추의 관계를 완전매개하였다. 또한 두 매개변인의 매개효과를 비교한 결과, 대비가 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 부적응적 완벽주의에서 반추에 영향을 미치는 변인들, 즉 자기냉담과 자기자비 간의 매개효과를 비교하여 기존 연구들의 한계를 보완하였다. 또한 자기자비를 증가시키는 것도 중요하지만 자기냉담의 감소에 우선적으로 초점을 맞추는 것이 반추, 더 나아가서 우울과 같은 심리적 부적응에 대한 예방과 치료 장면에서 효과적일 것이라는 것을 제안하며, 본 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하였다.
