토크 예측 제어를 통한 간접형 매트릭스 컨버터로 구동되는 PMSM의 토크 리플 저감 기법

This paper presents a torque ripple reduction method of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) driven by an indirect matrix converter (IMC) based on torque predictive control. The indirect matrix converter guarantees a sinusoidal waveform of the input– output currents and high-power density. In addition, this architecture does not have large capacitors in the DC-link. As the indirect matrix converter has these advantages, it is used in various applications such as in railway cars and electric vehicles. Currently, various torque control methods for permanent magnet synchronous motor drives using indirect matrix converters are being actively studied. In this paper, a torque ripple reduction method of permanent magnet synchronous motor driven by an indirect matrix converter based on torque predictive control is proposed. The improved torque predictive control method can decrease the ripple of the output current and torque in the low- and high-speed load ranges. In addition, this method is able to enhance the dynamic torque response relative to using the conventional torque predictive control. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified via simulation and experimental results.
