HOW TO UPGRADE THE POWER GENERATION SYSTEM in MYANMAR?

초록/요약

Myanmar, located in South East Asia, is a developing country and it needs the large amount of electricity capacity yearly to meet its demand required for the development of economics growth rapidly and to asset electricity in rural area. Myanmar is already known as the rich natural resources plentiful country but it has many difficulties and lucks of knowledge to use the natural resources and to maintain these resources. How to plan to meet the regular increased demand and to improve the power system reliability is very interesting issue and how to proceed to update the plan and how to maintain the natural resources are very important issues for the future. The first thing to do should be how to solve the current challenges and so this paper describes the current challenges and reviews the statistics concerning the power sector in the last two decades. This methodological reviewing describes the needs for the existing unreliable power system of the country and the vital component, the sufficient electricity generation, required for the development of economics growth. The electricity generation system is the primary source of Power System and it has to be upgrade in line with transmission and distribution systems correspondingly. Finally the outlook should to do for the most needed is described according to the practical situations of the country.
