초록/요약
Abstract This thesis attempts to investigate Korean Inward FDI policy before and after the Asian financial crisis in 1997 and the similarities between Korean and Uzbekistan FDI policies. As well-known that the financial crisis is a global challenge for all country in the world that influences negative impacts on every sphere in economy. FDI is one of the factors to develop the economy of countries. At the initial stage of economic development, Korea preferred foreign loans over FDI. Only after the 1997 financial crisis Korean government start active inward FDI. Inflows of FDI played a significant role in the development of Korean economy. This study prove the similarities between both countries in terms of FDI policies and measures which have been accepted by the state and which have served as positive factor in the further development of Korea and Uzbekistan.
