박재삼 초기시의 시간의식 연구 : 베르그손의 ‘지속’을 중심으로
A Study on Time Consciousness in Park Jae-sam's Early Poetry
초록/요약
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the time consciousness of Park Jae-sam's early poetry through the duration(durée). Park Jae-sam shows the time consciousness as the duration in his works. Though po etic persona in his poems is changed sometimes into a community, som etimes into a individual persona, 'time of duration' stays the same as u sual. The previous studies on time consciousness of Park Jae-sam's po etry were carried out within the framework of the analepsis about the past or the circular time. But analepsis and circular time mean only the disconnected time. Therefore previous studies were unable to explain t he continuity of time and positive future in Park Jae-sam's poetry. For this reason this thesis adopted the 'duration' theory of Bergson in the analysis of Park Jae-sam's early poetry. The duration of Bergson is the process in which the past is diffused and goes forward to the future. According to his theory of time, the pa st, the present and the future occur simultaneously. The present is ove rlapped with the past. And the present, that is made with the past, advance for the future. This continuous time is the duration of Bergson. A nd the Bergson's duration includes the 'becoming' moving toward a futu re. The becoming is a constantly varying creative time. The time of Pa rk Jae-sam's early poetry accords with the duration of Bergson. The p oet doesn't flashback to the past, but actualize it, and shows the beco ming by hoping for the time. In Chapter 2 are analyzed the actualization of a tale as the past and the personification of the community as a poetic narrator in the Park Jae-sam's early poetry. The person of the past like 'Chunhyang', 'Heungbu', infiltrate into the present. And this is the actualization of the past. The community is also influenced by the person of the past, and this strengthens more and more the unity of the community. In Chapter 3 is analyzed the duration of the personal persona through the identification with nature. The society was rapidly industrialized after the Korean War. Accordingly, the community spirit was continually weakening. From this moment in the Park Jae-sam's poetry the personal persona start to appear. In there also holds fast the duration through the natural objects as 'haze', 'wind', 'tree', 'sea'. In Chapter 4 is analyzed the becoming toward the positive future and the recovery followed by the becoming. The becoming is the one of duration's characters. It is extended to the past, the present, and the future. In Park Jae-sam's poetry all kinds of the becoming are going forward to the future and in the moment of the becoming take place the healing. And to conclude, the time consciousness revealed in Park Jae-sam's poems has the continuous nature. Therethrough he tries to overcome the harsh realities of the life and retains the duration of time to meet the needs of the times.
