공공하수처리시설의 단위공정별 악취발생현황 및 관리방안에 관한 연구

초록/요약

2011년에 조사된 악취 민원 현황을 살펴보면 수도권지역이 전국 악취 민원의 약 52 %를 차지하고 있다. 특히 생활악취시설의 악취 민원 비율 중 하수․정화조의 결과가 24 %로 가장 심한 것으로 나타났다. 그 중에서도 하수관거 및 하수처리장과 같은 공공하수처리시설의 악취 민원이 해마다 증가하고 있다. 본 연구조사에서는 3개의 공공하수처리시설(대형, 소형, 대형 중의 지하화시설)을 대상으로 단위공정별 악취발생량에 대해 정량적인 평가를 하고자 하였으며 과학적인 근거의 마련과 악취방지시설의 운영상태에 대한 체계적이며 효율적인 관리 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 악취 발생원단위는 단위시간당 악취발생량(OU⋅hr-1), 단위면적당 시간 당 악취발생량(OU⋅m-2⋅hr-1) 등으로 표현할 수 있으며 주요 악취물질의 발생원단위는 단위시간당 악취발생량(g⋅hr-1), 단위면적당 시간당 악취발생량(g⋅m-2⋅hr-1) 등으로 표현하였다. 연구조사 결과를 살펴보면 면발생원에서 Flux Chamber 법을 사용한 결과는 Chamber의 면적 0.132 m2이고 풍량이 0.3 m3⋅hr-1일 때 악취발생량(SOER ; Specific Odor Emission Rate)이 1차침전지의 경우 A시설 3.7 ~ 11 OU⋅m-2⋅min-1이고 B시설 3.7 ~ 7.7 OU⋅m-2⋅min-1로 유사한 결과로 측정되었다. 또한 생물반응조(호기조)의 경우에는 A시설은 2~10 OU⋅m-2⋅min-1이고 B시설 5.4 ~ 9.5 OU⋅m-2⋅min-1로 유사한 결과로 측정되었다. 계속 -
