소방공무원의 외상후 스트레스와 우울과의 관계

국문요약 소방공무원의 외상후 스트레스와 우울과의 관계 본 연구는 소방공무원의 외상후 스트레스 정도와 우울과의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구로 2013년 8월 23일부터 2013년 8월 26일까지 일개시 소방서와 119안전센터에 근무하고 1년 이상 현장경험이 있는 남자 소방공무원 126명을 대상으로 자료수집 하였다. 연구도구로 외상후 스트레스는 Weiss와 Marmar(1997)가 제작한 IES-R을 은헌정 등(2005)이 표준화한 한국판 사건충격척도 개정판(IES-R-K), 우울 도구로는 Derogatis, Rickles, Rock(1976)에 의해 제작된 ‘Symptom Checklist-90-Revision’을 김광일 등(1984)이 한국판으로 번역한 간이정신진단검사(SCL-90-R) 중 우울부분 13문항만을 발췌하여 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 19.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하였고, 실수와 백분율, One-way ANOVA, Independent t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient를 사용하여 분석하였다. 구체적인 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자의 외상후 스트레스 정도는 최대 4점에 평균 1.58±0.90이었고 65.9%가 외상후 스트레스 장애 고위험군으로 나타났으며, 우울은 최대 4점에 평균 1.14±0.70이었고, 33.4%가 고위험군 및 임상적 진단범주군으로 나타났다. 2. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 외상후 스트레스 정도 및 우울 정도의 차이는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 3. 대상자의 외상후 스트레스와 우울간에는 정적 상관관계(r= .66, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 외상후 스트레스와 우울은 강한 상관성이 있으므로 외상후 스트레스를 조기에 발견하고 예방, 중재 할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고 체계적으로 관리 할 필요가 있다.
