초록/요약
최근 아동 건강 문제가 대두되고 있다. 조사에 의하면 주의력결핍과잉행동장애, 인터넷 중독, 반항장애 등으로 소아정신과 상담치료를 찾는 아동들이 크게 늘어나고 있으며 또한 아동 비만 문제 또한 증가 하고 있는 추세이다. 정신 및 신체 건강 문제는 아동시기로 끝나는 것이 아니라 아동의 성장과 함께 이어져 성인기에도 그 영향을 미치고 있어 아동 건강 문제에 대한 방안이 필요한 실정이다. 현재 정부에서도 아동 비만 및 건강 증진 문제를 해결하기 위하여 사업을 추진하고 있으나, 아직 홍보 및 수요자 조사의 부족 등의 문제점이 제시되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현재 진행되고 있는 아동 건강 관련 서비스를 살펴보고 이에 대한 개선 방안을 모색하였으며, 효과적으로 아동의 건강 관리 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 본 연구에서는 u- Health Care의 종류 중에 Wellness Care 를 도입하여 이 문제에 대한 해결 방안을 제시하고자 한다. Wellness Care는 일반적으로 만성질환자나 질병에 걸린 사람들을 대상으로 그들의 치료 및 관리를 돕는 것이 아닌, 건강한 상태에서 질병을 예방하기 위하여 개인 건강에 맞는 식단 처방, 운동 처방 등을 관리를 하여 더욱 건강한 상태로 유지 하도록 도와 준다. 현재 진행되고 있는 Wellness Care는 주로 성인들을 대상으로 진행되고 있다. 현재 맞벌이 부부의 증가로 주중 시간에 아동과 함께 센터 등의 방문이 어려운 점을 감안하여 아동이 생활하는 유치원 안에서 아동의 건강을 진단하고, 가정에서는 인터넷을 통하여 결과 확인 및 아동에게 진단된 식단 및 운동 처방을 하는 방법을 모색하였다. 아동 건강 관리를 위하여 신체와 정신 건강 두 부분으로 나누었다. 신체 건강에서는 아동의 성장 발육 상태에 맞게 성장을 하고 있는지를 체크 하기 위하여 아동의 BMI 측정을 통하여 비만 여부를 측정하여 아동에게 맞는 식단과 운동처방을 하며, 머리 둘레, 혈압, 맥박, 체온측정을 통하여 아동의 건강관리를 진행한다. 정신 건강에서는 ADHD 증상 중 과잉활동증을 조기 예진 하기 위해 유치원에서 아동의 활동량을 측정하고 활동하는 모습을 비디오 촬영을 하여 아동의 행동을 관찰하였다. 가정에서는 학부모님들이 아동의 행동을 보고 설문지를 진행하였다. 미취학 아동 30명을 대상으로 4주간 서비스를 진행하였다. 서비스 진행 결과 학부모로부터 많은 만족도를 확인 할 수 있었다.

Recently, healthcare for children has emerged as a problem. According to a research, children who consult child psychiatry to treat their attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, internet addiction, or oppositional defiant disorder have significantly increased in numbers. Child obesity is also on the rise. Physical and mental disorders of a child not only affect one during his/her adolescence, but also during one’s maturity, and this is why we need to come up with measures to counter the problems in children’s healthcare. The government is working on public projects to settle child obesity and healthcare, but there has been lack of promotion and research on the demanders. This study explores child healthcare services that are currently being provided, suggests measures to improve the service, and offers solutions to effectively provide children with healthcare. This study proposes a way to solve the problem by introducing Wellness Care, which is one of the u- Health Care methods, into the system. The aim of Wellness Care does not lie in helping patients with chronic diseases or illness by providing treatment and health care. Rather, it is to help healthy individuals maintain their health by providing dietary prescriptions, or exercise prescriptions fit for those individuals. Current Wellness Care is generally applied to adults. The number of working parents is growing, and it is becoming more difficult for those parents to visit the health care center with their children during weekdays. For this reason, we have searched for ways to provide on-site diagnosis for children that are in kindergarten, and ways to generate the result of the diagnosis, along with dieatary and exercise prescriptions that are accessible via internet. We took 2 steps to provide child healthcare. For physical health, children’s BMIs were measured to check up on the growth and development of each child, and dieatary and exercise prescriptions were issued according to the results. Head circumferences, blood pressures, pulses, and body tempertures of the children were measured as well. And for mental health, children’s degrees of activities in the kindergarten were videotaped and measured to prevent hyperactivity, one of the symptoms of an ADHD. In their homes, surveys were conducted to parents who watched their children’s activities. These healthcare services were provided for 4 weeks, and as a result, gained high percentage of satisfaction from the parents.
