초록/요약

This thesis presents the Mobility support Topology Control Protocol which focuses on Energy Efficiency, which is the most important issue in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). To reduce the energy consumption and MAC contention, the proposed protocol adjusts the transmission power of each sensor node so that the node has number of k neighbor nodes. In addition, the neighbor nodes of the mobile sink collaborates with each other to track the mobile sink. This mechanism reduces the energy required in the modification of the routing path and improves the reliability of the data collecting. From the studies on NS-2 simulation environments, the proposed scheme is shown to be more effective in terms of energy consumption and delivery reliability.
