악기놀이 활동이 뇌성마비 유아의 감각-운동 및 의사소통에 미치는 효과

초록/요약

이 연구는 악기놀이 활동을 중도 뇌성마비 유아에게 적용하여 감각-운동 및 의사소통에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 G시에 위치한 Y어린이집에 다니는 중도 뇌성마비 유아 3명을 대상으로 악기놀이 활동을 적용하였다. 연구절차는 약 1개월 동안 선별검사 및 악기놀이 활동 프로그램을 작성하고 수정하였으며, 사전검사로 MEPA-Ⅱ검사를 하였다. 약 2개월에 걸쳐 8주간 악기놀이 활동을 적용하였으며, 매 회기 마지막 날 발달과정을 기록하고 사후검사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 악기놀이 활동 적용 전․후의 성취득점을 백분율로 환산하여 비교 분석하였으며, 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 악기놀이 활동은 중도 뇌성마비 유아의 감각-운동의 하위영역인 자세유지 향상에 효과적이었다. 둘째, 악기놀이 활동은 중도 뇌성마비 유아의 감각-운동의 하위영역인 이동능력 향상에 효과적이었다. 셋째, 악기놀이 활동은 중도 뇌성마비 유아의 감각-운동의 하위영역인 조작능력 향상에 효과적이었다. 넷째, 악기놀이 활동은 중도 뇌성마비 유아의 의사소통능력 향상에 효과적이었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과로 볼 때 악기놀이 활동은 중도 뇌성마비 유아의 감각- 운동 및 의사소통에 효과가 있다는 것을 확인시켜 주었다. 악기놀이 활동에 대한 경험은 움직임이 제한적인 중도 뇌성마비 유아들에게 신체적·정서적으로 만족감을 주고 악기놀이 활동 과정 안에서 직접 경험하고, 느끼고, 지각하게 함으로써 긍정적인 변화와 발달을 유도했다고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 다양한 음악활동을 통해 감각적 자극과 환경적 기회를 많이 제공하 는 것이 중요하며, 다른 사람들과의 조화를 통해 사회적 수용감과 만족감을 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것이 필요하다.
