초록/요약
유비쿼터스라는 용어는 더 이상 사람들에게 생소한 이론적인 용어가 아니다. 현재 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 상용화를 위해 많은 나라와 기관에서 활발하게 연구가 진행 중이며 그 결과는 머지않아 우리 생활의 커다란 변화를 가져오게 될 것이다. 이러한 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 큰 특징 중에 하나는 맞춤형 서비스를 제공한다는데 있다. 서비스 제공자는 사용자의 현재 상황에 대한 정보와 사용자의 의도에 대한 정보를 이용하여 같은 상황일지라도 서비스를 제공받는 사람의 취향에 따라서 다른 서비스를 지능적으로 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 요소들이 무엇인지를 규명해 보고, 서비스 모형과 서비스 상태 모형을 제시하였다. 이 모델은 현실에서 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 구현할 때 이용할 수 있으며 서비스 제공 영역을 유비쿼터스 환경으로 확장시켰다는데 의미를 부여할 수 있다.

"Ubiquitous" is not a dream any more for the people. At present, ubiquitous computing is going on studying at a lot of institution for the general public, this result has the potential to change our lifestyles. one of the great characteristic at this ubiquitous environment is provision of personalized service. A service manager will be able to provide different service intelligently according to user's preference even though same situation using context information and user intention information. In this paper we define entities and present reference model among these entities and service state model for personalized service in ubiquitous environment, which help you implement system to provide personalized service in ubiquitous environment and is meaningful to broaden the service area to ubiquitous environment.
