The Role of CSOs for Quality of Education and Effective High Literacy Rate in Pakistan

This dissertation aims to indicate the role of civil society organizations in the quality of education and the improvement of the literacy rate in Pakistan. Quality education always plays the role of leadership in society for human development psychologically, mentally, socially, politically, economically, and culturally. All over the world, countries spend on education through collaboration with civil organizations based on research and development. Unfortunately, there is a lack of solid educational cooperation between the government of Pakistan and civil society organizations. After more than seven decades, the government indicators are not showing effective positive results compared to other regional countries. Until now, there is also a lack of staff training, updating singularity and quality of the curriculum, libraries, laboratories, research facilities, and old examination patterns in educational streamlining. While on the other hand, considering the considerable problems in the education system of Pakistan, civil society organizations' role can be vital in tackling this antique problem based on international standards under their research according to communities' requirements. This study will help policymakers to understand the loopholes and drawbacks in the education system of Pakistan. It will also help to build a bridge of educational research and collaboration between the government of Pakistan and civil society organizations for quality and high literacy rates.
