초록/요약
본 연구에서는 젠트리피케이션 수용도 척도를 개발해, 개인의 문화자본이 젠트리피케이션을 수용하는데 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 했다. 또한 획일성의 수준에 따른 문화공간 선호가 젠트리피케이션 수용도와 관련 있는지도 살펴보고자 했다. 마지막으로, 문화공간 선호는 개인의 취향과도 연결될 수 있는 개념으로 보고, 문화자본이 획일성의 수준에 따른 문화공간 선호에 영향을 미치는 지에 대해서도 고찰해보았다. 설문참여자들은 20대 대학생으로, 총 156부의 응답을 분석에 사용했다. 문화자본의 독립변수는 상속자본과 획득자본으로 구분하여 측정하였다. 상속자본과 획득자본의 수준에 따라 젠트리피케이션 수용도를 살펴보기 위하여 젠트리피케이션 수용도를 요인분석한 결과, 젠트리피케이션 수용도는 재방문에 대한 부정적 태도와 장소 변화에 대한 부정적 인식으로 구분되었다. 연구문제 1의 세부적인 연구 결과를 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 상속자본인 아버지 학력, 부모문화자본과 획득자본인 문화활동이 재방문에 대한 부정적 태도에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 상속자본인 아버지 학력, 부모문화자본과 획득자본인 문화소양이 장소 변화에 대한 부정적 인식에 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 대학생의 문화자본인 상속자본과 획득자본이 재방문에 대한 부정적인 태도와 장소변화에 대한 부정적인 인식과 같은 젠트리피케이션을 부정적으로 수용하는 요인들과 관련이 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 연구문제 2를 알아보기 위해, 젠트리피케이션 수용도와 획일성의 수준에 따른 관계를 살펴본 결과, 젠트리피케이션 수용도와 획일성의 수준에 따른 문화공간 선호는 전반적으로 관련이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 연구문제 3의 결과를 살펴보기 위해, 상속자본과 획득자본의 수준에 따라 획일성이 높은 공간과 낮은 공간의 선호도를 알아보았다. 상속자본 중 아버지 학력, 획득자본 중 문화소양, 문화선호 그리고 응답자의 일반적 특성에서는 가구 평균 수입에 따라 획일성이 높은 공간에 대한 선호도가 높았다. 둘째, 상속자본 중 문화예술교육, 획득자본 중 문화소양, 문화선호에 따라 획일성이 낮은 공간에 대한 선호가 높았다.

In the present study, the researcher aimed to develop a measure of acceptance of gentrification and see how individual cultural capital affects the acceptance of gentrification and if the cultural space preference based on the uniformity level is related to the acceptance of gentrification. Lastly, I considered cultural space preference as a concept that can be linked to individual tastes, and I also examined whether cultural capital affects cultural space preferences based on the level of uniformity. The participants of the survey were university students in their twenties, and a total of 156 responses were used in the analysis. The independent variables of cultural capital were measured by dividing them into inherited and acquired capital. As a result of factor analysis of the acceptance of gentrification in order to examine the acceptance of gentrification according to the levels of inherited and acquired capital, the acceptance of gentrification was divided into negative attitudes towards revisiting and negative perceptions of change of place. The detailed research results of the research question 1 can be summed up as follows. First, the educational background of the father and the cultural capital of the parents, which are the inherited capital, and cultural activities, which is the acquired capital, affected the negative attitude towards revisiting. Second, the educational background of the father and the cultural capital of the parents, which are the inherited capital, and the cultural literacy, which is the acquired capital, influenced the negative perceptions of change of place. Thus, it was found out that the inherited and acquired capital, which are the cultural capitals of university students, were related to factors that affect the negative acceptance of gentrification, such as negative attitudes toward visit and negative perceptions of change of place. In order to investigate on the research question 2, as a result of exploring the relationship between the levels of the acceptance and uniformity of gentrification, the cultural space preference according to the level of acceptance and uniformity of gentrification was found to be generally irrelevant. To examine the results of research question 3, the preference of spaces with high and low uniformity was recognized depending on the level of inherited and acquired capital. In the educational background of the father of the inherited capital, the cultural literacy and cultural preferences of the acquired capital, and in the general characteristics of the respondents, the preference for a space with high uniformity was high depending on the average household income. Secondly, there was a high preference for a space with low uniformity depending on the culture and arts education of the inherited capital, cultural literacy of the acquired capital, and cultural preferences of the acquired capital.
