침투적 반추가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향 : 의도적 반추를 통한 고통 감내력의 조절된 매개효과

본 연구는 외상 사건을 경험한 대학생을 대상으로 의도적 반추가 침투적 반추와 외상 후 성장의 관계를 매개하는지, 그리고 고통 감내력이 의도적 반추의 매개효과를 조절하는지 알아보기 위하여 조절된 매개모형을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 경기도 소재의 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 303명의 학부생을 대상으로 침투적 반추, 의도적 반추, 고통 감내력, 그리고 외상 후 성장을 측정하였고, SPSS Macro를 사용하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 의도적 반추는 침투적 반추와 외상 후 성장 간의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 고통 감내력이 침투적 반추와 의도적 반추 간의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 이는 고통 감내력이 높을수록 침투적 반추가 의도적 반추에 미치는 영향력이 증가한다는 것을 의미한다. 셋째, 조절된 매개효과가 나타났는데, 침투적 반추와 외상 후 성장 간의 관계에서 의도적 반추의 매개효과는 고통 감내력이 높을수록 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의, 임상적 함의, 그리고 제한점 및 추후 연구를 위한 제언에 대하여 논의하였다.

The purpose of the current study was to investigate whether deliberate rumination would mediate the relationship between intrusive rumination and posttraumatic growth, and if such mediating effect would differ depending on the level of distress tolerance. A total sample of 303 undergraduate students completed measures assessing for intrusive rumination, deliberate rumination, distress tolerance, and posttraumatic growth. The data was analyzed by using SPSS Macro. The main results were as follows. First, deliberate rumination had a full mediating effect on the relationship between intrusive rumination and posttraumatic growth. Second, distress tolerance moderated the association between intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination. That is, as distress tolerance increased, the relationship between intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination increased. Third, the moderated mediation model was supported in that the mediating effect of deliberate rumination on the relationship between intrusive rumination and posttraumatic growth increased as distress tolerance increased. The implications and limitations of this study were discussed with suggestions for the future research.
