여중생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 자기애, 공감능력이 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 여중생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 자기애, 공감능력과 대인관계능력 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 여중생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 자기애, 공감능력이 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위해 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 여중생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 자기애, 공감능력, 대인관계능력은 유의미한 상관이 있는가? 둘째, 여중생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 자기애, 공감능력은 대인관계능력에 유의미한 영향을 미치는가? 본 연구를 위해 경기도에 소재한 S시 중학교 4개교 1, 2, 3학년 여학생 506명을 대상으로 부모양육태도척도, 자기애적 성격장애척도(NPDS), 공감능력척도, 대인관계능력척도를 사용하여 검사 실시후 결과를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석방법은 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대인관계능력 하위변인과의 상관을 살펴보면, 대인관계능력의 하위변인인 처음 관계 맺기, 타인에게 불쾌감 주장하기, 자기노출은 부양육태도, 모양육태도, 공감능력과 유의미한 정적상관을 보이고, 정서적인 지지와 조언, 대인갈등 다루기는 부양육태도, 모양육태도와는 유의미한 정적상관을 보이나, 자기애와는 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 대인관계능력에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변인은 공감능력이었으며, 그 다음은 부의 양육태도, 모의 양육태도, 자기애 순으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결론은 여중생이 지각한 부모양육태도, 자기애, 공감능력이 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향이 유의미하므로 여중생들이 대인관계능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 부모의 긍정적인 양육태도와 적절한 자기애, 공감능력의 향상이 필요함을 시사한다. 특히 대인관계능력 하위변인으로 볼 때 모의 양육태도는 부분적으로 영향력이 있었으나 부의 양육태도는 대인관계능력 하위변인 전반적으로 영향력을 보였다는 것으로 보아 부의 양육태도가 지니는 중요성에 주목할 필요가 있다. 자기애도 대인관계능력의 하위변인에 따라 부정적인 영향 뿐 아니라 긍정적 영향도 나타나는 것으로 보여 자기애를 낮추는 것만 아니라 적절한 자기애를 가질 수 있도록 효과적인 조절이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.
