Palm oil is one of the mainstay of agricultural commodities is growing very fast and has a strategic role in national economy. As a source of employment, the palm oil sector is also absorbed millions of workers from upstream to downstream. Palm oil (CPO) as raw material for cooking oil and as an increasingly important position of foreign exchange earnings led government is faced with a choices. The Government felt the need to play a role in regulating the marketing system of palm oil and its products, especially palm oil. Form of government intervention in the form of setting CPO allocation, the allocation is to determine the CPO allocation rules in certain places. This paper aims to analyze the factors that influence the growth of Indonesia's CPO exports in periods of 1979-2011. Type of data used in this study is secondary data. Analysis of Factors that influence Indonesia’s CPO Export Growth are Indonesian CPO production, world CPO price, world CPO production, Indonesia’s import CPO, Indonesia’s CPO domestic price, and export tax. The result showed all the factors are significant except Indonesia’s CPO domestic price. As an effort to achieve sustainable palm oil production and to maintain Indonesia as the largest producer and exporter of palm oil in the world and also become the market leader, among all Indonesia’s management on Palm oil need for integrated policies between local and central governments and central coordinating role across the region as well as establish basic policy. Government should decide effective and efficient regulate, and efforts to create an attractive investment climate.
