초록/요약
본 논문은 유비쿼터스 홈 네트워크 시스템을 관리하기 위한 매개체로서 홈 네트워크에 관한 접근성과 사용자 편의성을 고려했을 때 가장 유리한 방법이 현재 우리가 사용하고 있는 모바일 폰의 SMS와 모바일 인터넷이라는 점을 인지하고 작성되었다. SMS를 이용한 방법은 즉시성, 편리성, 통신비용 측면에서 유리하여 홈 네트워크 컨트롤을 위한 방법 중 하나로 많은 논의가 되어왔다. 기존의 방법으로 SMS를 이용하여 홈 네트워크를 제어하기 위해서는 명령어를 수신하는 수신 단말기를 홈 네트워크 서버와 연동하여 정보를 얻는 방법을 사용했기에 추가 단말기와 추가 통신비용이 필요했다. 이러한 추가 비용을 줄이고 필요한 정보를 얻기 위한 방법으로 SMS ALARMING 서비스가 논의 되었으나 이는 양방향이 아닌 단방향인 방법으로 명령어를 송수신하여 시스템을 제어하는 방법으로 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 SMS를 이용하여 홈 네트워크 시스템을 제어하는 방법은 상용 메신저(네이트온)에서 ‘SMS 대화하기’라는 서비스를 제공한다는 점을 이용하여 홈 네트워크 서버에서 상용 메신저와 연동하여 명령어를 송수신하는 방법을 사용하였다. 이는 자신의 번호로 명령어를 보냄으로써 기존의 추가비용을 없앨 수 있고 또, 양방향 명령어 제어가 가능하여 기존 방법에 비해 확실한 장점을 가진다. 모바일 인터넷을 이용한 방법은 사용자 화면, 확장성 그리고 데이터 관리 측면에서 유리하여 웹을 이용한 가상공간 상에서 홈 네트워크 제어 방법이 많이 논의되어 왔다. 웹과 홈 네트워크 서버를 연동하기 위한 매개체로 DB(MYSQL)를 사용한 방법이 비용과 확장성 면에서 유리하여 각 매체에서 DB를 공유하기 위해 홈 네트워크 서버에 웹 서버를 구축하는 방법이 주로 연구되어 왔다. 하지만 이러한 방법은 웹 서버를 호스팅하기 위한 비용이 많이 들고 기업에서 제공하는 높은 수준의 서비스를 받기 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 모바일 인터넷을 이용한 홈 네트워크 시스템을 제어하는 방법은 대형 포탈 중 하나인 싸이월드에서 가상공간인 ‘미니룸’ 서비스를 제공한다는 측면을 이용하여 가상공간에서 실제 집을 제어하는 효과를 ‘DB외부접속’을 이용한 방법을 통해 웹 서버와 홈 네트워크 서버가 분리된 형태로 대형 포탈에서 제공하는 홈 네트워크 서비스에서 누릴 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 이는 홈 네트워크 시스템 구축비용의 절감과 기존 포탈의 서비스를 이용해 접근성 높은 사용자 중심 서비스가 제공될 수 있는 측면에서 유리하다. 세부내용으로 위에서 제시한 SMS와 모바일 인터넷을 이용한 방법이 가지는 기존 기술의 차별성과 구현기술과 실제 적용 예제를 중심으로 기술하였고 문제점에 대한 대안으로 각 주제를 기술하였다. 그리고 추후 연구과제로 앞에서 제시한 두 가지 방법의 장점을 연동한 방법에 대해 기술하여 앞으로 홈 네트워크 컨트롤 매개체로써 모바일 폰이 이용될 수 있는 방안에 대해 연구하였다.

This treatise is handle to techniques how to control ubiquitous home network system using something that users use more easily and more economically and It considers that it's solution is suitable to a mobile phone. A mobile phone has good point in comparison between other equipments to mobility and convenience. And it is possible by SMS and mobile internet. Many research is accomplished to handle home network control using SMS because it has advantage to communication cost. The existing method needs a receiving terminal additionally for handling SMS and it causes additionally costs. Although other method like 'SMS ALARMING' offers this service without a additional terminal, it is just possible one-way communication. However this treatise offers to new method based on instant messenger. The instant messenger(NateOn) is servicing to chat by SMS connected cellular network. The instant messenger's service is used in this study to control home network by instant messenger's communication information. It solves existing method's problems like additional costs or one-way communication when sending own number SMS including command to control home network. In this reason, this method is useful better than existing method. Using mobile internet is useful with user interface, scalability and data management. If some people want control their home by mobile internet, they have to use web connected their home network server because something is needed that can be shared between web server and home network server. Mainly 'mysql' is used as DB for being shared and web server hosting is serviced on home network server. However being serviced is expensive when users use it in home because web server hosting is needed additionally to them. In contrast, this treatise offers to new method using the mobile internet. Currently the portal site like 'cyworld' is offering cyber room service like 'Mini room'. If this service can be applied to home network service, users would use low cost and to connect service easily. 'DB external connection' is used for connection between web server and home network server on the new method. Users just use portal site's space instead of web server hosting themselves because of those servers are separated. This treatise is carried out by research to control home network usefully using SMS and mobile internet compared with existing method and how to make it and how to applicate it. And this treatise offers to idea more useful method mixed presented two methods as further study subject.
