Functions are the most important in the curriculums of middle school mathematics. Since the functions are applied to the various fields, the study on functions are very important. The subject of 'Function' in the 7th education course is to approach natural or social phenomenon mathematically and link it to school mathematics. Therefore, the purpose oft his thesis is to introduce the concept of a linear function by using the change relationship of real life, and to find an effective teaching method of a linear function. This thesis is focused on teaching that students have functional thinking in daily routine So, this thesis presents the concept of function and suggests models about it
